Drew Brees stops by the Life of Dad studio to talk to Art Eddy about fatherhood, his new venture with Argent Pictures, and playing in the NFL. Drew shares his thoughts about the Life of Dad moment he had with his son when he was celebrating a Super Bowl win back in 2010. Brees also discusses how he teaches his kids how to give back to the community by the work he does with the Brees Dream Foundation.

#284 – Arthur Blank

Atlanta Falcons owner, Arthur Blank stops by the Life of Dad studio to chat about fatherhood, his foundation, how he and his kids work together for the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation and more.

Perhaps best known as co-founder of The Home Depot, Arthur Blank’s Family of Businesses portfolio currently includes the Atlanta Falcons; Atlanta United; PGA TOUR Superstore; The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation; Mountain Sky Guest Ranch; AMB West, LLC; and AMB Group, the parent company of his for-profit businesses. Blank and the Falcons, in partnership with the city of Atlanta and state of Georgia, are the private funders of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, which opened in 2017. The stadium will be operated by Atlanta Falcons Stadium Company, a newly-created company also owned by AMB Group, and be home to the Falcons and Atlanta United.

#283 – Damien Wilkins

NBA star, Damien Wilkins stops by the Life of Dad Show to talk with Art Eddy about the gender reveal his fiancée, Jasmine Mitchell surprised him with during a Pacers game, fatherhood and what it means to come from a basketball family. He is the son of NBA veteran Gerald Wilkins and nephew of nine-time NBA All-Star Dominique Wilkins. You can say basketball is in his blood, but there is much more to Damien than hoops. From his time in the NBA to now he has learned a lot about himself on a personal and professional level. He knows that he should not take things for granted. He shares that thought with his family at home and his teammates at work.

Wilkins has aspirations to still work in the NBA once he retires as a player. He would like to work in the front office for a team. With all of his knowledge of the game, his work ethic and the way he looks at life I am betting a lot of teams would love to have him working for them. Who knows what the future holds for Damien, but with his attitude the sky is the limit.
