#247 – Paul Greene

Tommy Riles and Art Eddy talk about what profession they wanted to get into while they were in high school. They were inspired by this week’s guest, Paul Greene. Once Paul Greene saw the Jean Claude Van Damme movie, Bloodsport, he knew he wanted to become an actor.

In 2005, Paul Greene‘s passion for acting brought him to Los Angeles. After studying in New York at Stella Adler, Uta Hagen’s HB Studios, and Susan Batson’s Black Nexxus, Paul‘s commitment to developing his craft continued in Los Angeles at Improv Olympic West and the Actor’s Circle Theater and in work with, Nicoli Guzov, and Sandy Marshal. Paul has starred in Do No Harm with Lauren Holly, and appeared in Sofia Coppola’s Somewhere.

Paul is an avid pilot, accomplished musician and singer and photographer. Paul has recorded two albums. He was recently featured in, and helped film a documentary following 5 riders on motorcycles through the Himalayas from north India to the Tibetan plateau called The Highest Path.

He lives in Los Angeles with his son, Oliver.Paul shares his story about being a father, co-parenting and keeping love as front and center.

We spoke to Ernie about his new book, Unscripted: The Unpredictable Moments that Make Life Extraordinary. In his book he shares stories about his marriage, having and adopting children, his battle with cancer, and all the challenges and hijinx of working in live TV in the sports world.

Tommy Riles and Art Eddy talk about the fact that they have been doing The Life of Dad Show for some time now, and they share their pet peeves about each other. They were inspired by this week’s guest, ESPN Radio host, Mike Golic, who has been working with his co-host Mike Greenberg for over 16 years.

Mike Golic makes up one part of ESPN Radio‘s weekday morning show Mike & Mike. Mike used to play in the NFL, most notably for the Philadelphia Eagles, in his nine-year career. In 2016, Golic was inducted into the National Association of Broadcasters Broadcasting Hall of Fame with his Mike & Mike co-host, Mike Greenberg. Golic, along with Greenberg, released Mike & Mike‘s Rules for Sports and Life which reached number 3 on the New York Times Best Sellers List.
