#35 – Tony Meola

Tommy Riles and Art Eddy talk about sports and Tom’s trip to Australia. Art also chats with former U.S. Men’s Soccer goalie Tony Meola about soccer and fatherhood.

Tony Meola played on both the U.S. Men’s National Team and in the MLS. He was in three FIFA World Cups and is a member of the National Soccer Hall of Fame. During his time playing in the MLS, Tony was named the league MVP in 2000. That year he and his team, the Kansas City Wizards, won the MLS Cup title.

Tony Meola, U.S. Men’s Soccer, and Allstate Insurance worked together to surprise a soccer team during their practice session with a special “Good Hands F.C.” soccer clinic coached by one of the best goalkeepers in American soccer history. Meola hosted a team practice and Allstate presented each player with new gear and tickets for the March 22 match between the U.S. Men’s National Team and Costa Rica.

Tommy Riles and Art Eddy are joined by Life of Dad co-founder Ryan E. Hamilton to discuss the difficult topic of divorce, child support, custody, visitation, and more.

They welcome special guest & family lawyer extraordinaire, Chantale Suttle, founder of DADvocacy, a Florida law firm just for dads.

Chantale is the only lawyer in Miami-Dade County who has dealt with the child support enforcement system from all three angles — prosecutor, defense attorney, and magistrate judge, and she has an incredible wisdom when it comes to family law. She discusses how the modern fathers’ rights movement actually has a pro-mom result.

We are glad to welcome her to the show to discuss an extremely important topic affecting fathers worldwide.

Tom Riles and Art Eddy welcome former Buffalo Bills quarterback and Hall of Famer Jim Kelly.

Jim talks about his football career, fatherhood, and his great foundation Hunter’s Hope Foundation. Hunter’s Hope Foundation was established to address the acute need for information and research with respect to Krabbe Disease and related Leukodystrophies. In addition, they strive to support and encourage those afflicted and their families as they struggle to endure, adjust and cope with the demands of these fatal illnesses. They have a yearly walk to help raise money and awareness called Every Step.

Jim was kind enough to talk about his life and how fatherhood made him a better man. It was an honor to chat with Jim and hear the passion he has for making a difference in the lives of children.


#32 – Eric Tracy

Tommy, Art, and Life of Dad’s Beer Guy, Dan Lazarz, welcome CHD Dad and partner of Westfield River Brewing Company, Eric Tracy.

Eric discusses his family’s journey with his son’s congenital heart defect, as well as Zebras for Zachary, their personal CHD awareness effort.

Finally, Eric and the Beer Guy discuss how to start a craft brewery!


#31 – Andre Reed

Tommy Riles and Art Eddy welcome the incredible Andre Reed to the show.

Andre Reed played wide receiver for the Buffalo Bills from 1985 to 1999 and one year in 2000 with the Washington Redskins. Part of the Bills teams that made it to four straight Super Bowls. Andre ranks tenth in NFL history in total career receptions with 951 and in 2009 he was elected to the Buffalo Bills 50th Season All-time Team.

Now a few years retired from football Andre is still active in many communities with the start up of the Andre Reed Foundation. His foundation was established in 2010 to help underprivileged children reach their full potential and become responsible contributors to their communities.

Andre chats with Art about football, his foundation, and fatherhood.
